Meet Archie. Archie is a wonderful little mini (7lbs) smooth coat chocolate dapple Dachshund who needs a new home. We received Archie after he was dropped off at our vets office by someone claiming to have found him, no owner was located. Archie had one of the worst mouths I have ever seen in a dog (and I have seen some bad ones!), most of his teeth were literally rotting out of his mouth. We had to pull all but five of his teeth (dogs are born with 42),  most of them just fell out with little effort (including all four canines!). We still have to have another surgery done to close the holes where his canines were, he had been under anesthesia to long and his body temperature had dropped to low during the first procedure. Archie is a very happy bouncy little guy who is totally housetrained and get along with everybody (including the resident Doberman's and Dachshunds) very well.  This little guy is going to make someone a perfect companion.
