| Meet Smokey. This sweet boy is a victim of the economy, his owners home was foreclosed upon and Smokey couldn't come to the new home. Smokey was left behind in the empty backyard. Smokey's owner would stop by and feed him every so often but he is extremely thin and needs to gain around 20lbs or so. We have had Smokey neutered and all of his shots updated and he is microchipped. Smokey is a VERY ACTIVE, high energy Doberman and he needs to be adopted by somebody who will exercise him daily. Smokey also needs to be enrolled in a doggy obedience class as he has had no formal training at all. We do know that Smokey was a house dog at one time and he was housetrained and he is crate trained as well. Smokey has lived with children his whole life and he has lived with other dogs including small Chihuahua's and he is trustworthy. We do require a complete adoption application, a home visit/check, an adoption donation of $250.00 and a signed adoption contract at the time of adoption.
