 Meet Fifi. This sweet little girl is a victim of the economy, her family lost their home and had to give her up. Fifi is just a few months over one year old so she has a long life ahead of her and lots of love to give. We have had Fifi spayed, microchipped and all of  her vaccines updated and she is ready to go to her new forever home. Little Fifi is crate trained and mostly housetrained but she will need to be watched for a while in her new home until she gets the hang of things. Fifi is a Dachshund mix, we don't know what with but she has a longer neck so I am guessing Italian Greyhound but that is just a guess, she weighs 15lbs. Fifi is a VERY timid dog who hasn't had a lot of socialization and she is very standoffish with strangers but is very loving to those she knows and trusts. This dog will need a very patient person or family who is willing to win her heart over but she is worth it! Fifi loves other dogs, she loves our blind puppy and the chihuahua that we have in rescue and in her previous home she lived with a pitbull and I'm told they were best friends. The ideal home for Fifi would be one where she will get lots of walks and lots of playdates with strangers so she can come out of her shell.
