About Me:

10/21/2010: UPDATE: Great News!!!  Thanks to ALL of our wonderful donors Lucy finally had her bladder stone removal surgery today. This precious angel had to wait almost a year but she now has a bladder free of stones and she will be so much happier and comfortable. There is more great news!! One of Lucy's donors would like to foster Lucy with the hopes of adopting her. Great news for this deserving girl.  10/6/10 UPDATE: SO FAR WE HAVE RAISED $550.00 FOR LUCY'S CYSTOTOMY. WE NEED ABOUT $300.00 MORE TO HAVE THE SURGERY DONE. ANY HELP IS MUCH APPRECIATED. Meet Lucy. Lucy is a spayed female black and tan doxie whose family has to give her up do to the economy. Lucy is a wonderful dog and will make somebody a very special companion. Lucy currently has bladder stones and she needs surgery ASAP. The surgery will cost about $1000.00, after Lucy has the necessary surgery she will be looking for a new forever home. One of the reasons Lucy has bladder stones is because she is  overweight, we will need to work on helping her lose weight to prevent the formation of stones in the future. Lucy is  microchipped and current on all of her vaccines.  If you would like to meet Lucy please complete an adoption application by clicking here and than call Brenda at 256-0321 to arrange a meeting. We do require a complete adoption application, we require references that we can call and check with, we ask that we be allowed to visit your home to ensure the fencing is secure. We do require an adoption donation to help with the vet fees.
